The event, a Heineken sponsored party based around the UEFA Champions League Final, was held at the impressive Zappeion, a building in the National Gardens in the heart of Athens.

Selected guests from the around the globe were on entrance immersed in a City of Champions skyline, which darkened as the sunlight transitioned to night-time, and entertained with choreographed football moves synced with the digital footballs before the match.

During the match, in-game graphics transformed the large-scale canvas as goals were scored, tackles and saves achieved and red cards given, culminating with a large-scale winners moment as Real Madrid took the title, again. All played out in a bold, graphic display projection mapped onto this ancient structure.

The brief was very challenging, and the lead time extremely tight, however, the end-client feedback was that they ‘more than loved what was produced’.
